• Bumthang

• Phobjikha Valley

  Phobjikha Valley is one of Bhutan’s most peaceful and scenic high-altitude valleys. Surrounded by pine-covered mountains and open wetlands, the valley is famous as the winter home of the endangered black-necked cranes.

• Phuentsholing

  Phuentsholing is Bhutan’s bustling southern gateway and one of the most important entry points for travellers arriving overland from India. Located directly opposite Jaigaon in West Bengal, the town is where the landscapes, culture and pace of life begin to change as you cross into the Kingdom of Bhutan.

• Punakha

  Punakha is one of Bhutan’s most beautiful valleys and was once the country’s capital. Located at a lower altitude than Thimphu and Paro, Punakha has a warmer climate, fertile farmland and picturesque riverside landscapes.

• Thimphu

  Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan and the country’s largest urban centre. Set in a beautiful Himalayan valley, the city offers a fascinating mix of traditional Bhutanese culture and modern life.

• Trongsa

  Trongsa is one of Bhutan’s most historically important towns and a natural gateway between western and central Bhutan. Perched above a deep gorge, the town is dominated by the spectacular Trongsa Dzong, one of the largest and most impressive fortress-monasteries in the country.
